Having always shown an interest in writing and storytelling, Chris began writing for the Cleveland rock and roll newspaper, The Scene, at the age of 15. Spending the next 7 years interviewing rock stars, Lambert went on to freelance for a number of national magazines having to do with his hobby of comic book collecting. Next came a decade of lecturing on the subject of film for Lakeland Community College, while contributing to the best seller, "Superman at Fifty." Hot on the heels of that success, Chris wrote a weekly comic column (as well as several humor columns) for the News-Herald for over a decade while also writing and performing a daily radio show about the history of comics.
Next came the children's book, "Mr. Jingeling," which Chris wrote and designed. But his rock and roll interest was never far from his thoughts as he contributed writing to the VH1, "Behind the Music" series on the episode- "The Tragic Story of Badfinger."
Shortly after that, Lambert contributed writing towards a college textbook on Alfred Hitchcock. Currently, he is retired and writes about comics when he gets the chance as well as indulges in Indie filmmaking.
